I've been playing for about three weeks and I'm continuing to work myself down the neck into new, uncharted chord-territory. I have, however, encountered some chords I think my fingers are too short to play. Am I doomed?

I know I'm asking a group of ukulele players who have likely have good, long fingers and not a group of failed short-fingered ukulele players. Have any of you had any experience perhaps teaching or watching someone unable to play certain chords.
The acoustic guitar is one of the most popular instruments around. Jangkauan tp-link tl-mr3020. It’s versatile, low maintenance and sounds great. You don’t need to lug around an amp if you’re just playing for a few friends and it provides enough volume to accompany vocals but not so much that it overshadows them.
My trouble really starts with the chords that require you to bar over the top two strings with a middle or ring finger. I can't reach that without either laying my fingers and muting the bottom two strings, or stretching so far I can't fret with my pointer fingers.
I may just need to self-discover some alternative fretting positions as I just did with E flat ('cause I can't tuck my pinky under my ring finger)
Thanks for the advice folks!
